/summary
The ASEAN Mitsubishi Cup is a biennial football tournament held across South East Asia, featuring national teams from across the region. Teams compete to be crowned the champions of South East Asia. Vietnam emerged as the eventual winners, edging out Thailand in the final. We were responsible for delivering infotainment and sports presentation for the tournament, as well as producing a custom graphics package.

/services

We provided a highly portable production unit capable of delivering graphics, managing match coverage, and handling video playback. A structured run of show was designed for each match to ensure consistency across the tournament. We curated playlists for each country, featuring both local and international music. Additionally, we managed the ceremonial elements, including music playback and design for the pre-match ceremonies.

/highlights
Travelling across Southeast Asia as part of a football tournament provided a unique opportunity to explore new places and experience different football cultures, highlighting the sport's unifying power.
/challenges
The tight back-to-back schedule required meticulous management of logistics, equipment, and crew. The variety of languages spoken across the competing nations posed a unique challenge for operators. Additionally, changes in stadium venues created logistical difficulties, though these were successfully resolved.
/learnings
Anticipating the unexpected is crucial when working in South East Asia, where local organising committees are still developing their expertise. Our role extends beyond delivering production; it is also about supporting and aiding their growth.
