The match was broadcast across RFU channels, streamed by World Rugby, and shown by broadcasters in Australia. This project was a collaboration with Jet Media, our production partner, and also marked the debut of Premier Sports’ talent ahead of their regular-season rugby coverage. England A dominated the match, securing a convincing victory.

/services

Our team built a complete production gallery at Twickenham Stoop, fully equipped for a high-end broadcast. The setup included dedicated spaces for the Director, PA with comms to Premier Sports in Dublin, EVS, Sound, and Vision operations. This event marked the debut of our latest flyaway production kit, featuring 4K Sony camera channels and a full broadcast-spec workflow. The audio setup was fully IP-based, using Dante and MADI with seamless cross-conversion. All equipment was integrated into a modular PPU (Portable Production Unit), built directly into the stadium infrastructure. Additionally, live graphics were managed remotely by Premier Sports in Ireland.

/highlights
Delivering our first full-scale broadcast production was a major milestone, reinforcing our growth in live sports broadcasting. Collaborating with a new production partner, Jet Media, allowed us to develop and expand together. Additionally, working alongside a team of talented freelancers—many of whom we’ve worked with regularly over the years—added to the rewarding nature of the project.
/challenges
Due to an England Men’s international match at Twickenham Stadium on the same weekend, our gallery space at Twickenham Stoop was repurposed for hospitality. This required us to de-rig after our initial setup and then rebuild everything the evening before match day, adding logistical complexity to the production.
/learnings
To better accommodate unpredictable venue requirements, we aim to make our equipment even more modular for faster deployment and reconfiguration. As broadcasters continue shifting towards more efficient and sustainable production methods, PPUs (Portable Production Units) will become a key alternative to traditional OB trucks, offering flexibility and cost-effectiveness for live sports coverage.
