Tell Champions Next Gen’ through Year-Long Partnership with NaSTA

Tell is proud to announce a year-long partnership, the first of its kind, with the UK National Student Television Association (NaSTA).
Reinforcing Tells commitment to nurturing and providing opportunity for young talent in the broadcast and production industry, this is the first time NaSTA has formed a long-term deal which extends beyond their annual awards.
The partnership, which runs from March 2025 to March 2026 and see’s Tell becoming NaSTA’s Industry Partner, is focussed around support and opportunity, comprising various activation points such as; expert advice, thought-leadership, development opportunities, work experience and support, both for aspiring media professionals and NaSTA itself which is mainly run by students.
The partnership will kick off at the 2025 National Student Television Awards and Conference, which takes place from 4-6th April in Southampton, where Tell will sponsor the’ Broadcaster of the Year’ and ‘Sport’ awards. Managing Director for the UK Jack Nicklin will also join the judging panel for the former, the main award of the evening.
Nicklin said of the partnership; “Giving back to our industry and community is important to us and forms part of our guiding principles. The aim of the partnership is to help NaSTA bridge the gap between education and professional media careers, giving young talent a headstart to break into this competitive industry.”

The agreement also includes work placements, shadowing opportunities and the prospect of a dedicated student event hosted by NaSTA in collaboration with Tell. Throughout the year, students will benefit from expert mentorship, gifted production resources, and networking opportunities, giving them invaluable insights into the ever-evolving media landscape.Tell MD Nicklin will also attend key NaSTA strategic meetings bringing his extensive experience to the table.
