Joey and Seb at our offices in York!

In this week’s blog, we are going to take you through some of the job opportunities that we currently have on offer at Tell as there are a range of vacancies that we are excited to fill with fresh new talent from the industry. We will discuss what we are looking for in our candidates and how it is best to reach out to us and get involved.

Graphic Designer
We are looking for someone who has a natural eye for great design and who can take responsibility for all of Tell’s graphic design needs. This position would be great for someone who wants a range of work. One week you could be creating social media graphics and the next you could be working with our commercial clients on their projects. Ideally, you will be familiar with Canva as a programme but we would really like someone who is able to create their own designs from scratch. We don’t necessarily need you to have experience as long as your skill and ability can speak for itself. We recommend sending a portfolio or some examples of your work when you reach out to us!

Social media/content managers
We are slowly building a team of dedicated social media managers and content creators to focus on different areas of our social media campaigns. In this role, you will be expected to come up with new ideas to keep our socials active and engaging. You will be comfortable actioning these posts after liaising with our social media lead and fellow team members and be able to post according to a set schedule. We want our socials to be a fun space that is more friendly and accessible than corporate and serious, so an ability to interact with our followers and pages would be amazing!

Junior Producers
Our junior producers are vital in helping to ensure our projects run seamlessly. You will be assisting with a huge range of jobs from original content creation to client commissions. This role will work closely with our Producer, Kat, and so it would be ideal if you were able to easily commute to our office in York. Our junior producers will be organised, ambitious and committed individuals with a great sense of initiative.

We have a number of opportunities for entry-level post-production roles with whom we would like to work with on a freelance basis. This role will require a TV/Film/Media student or graduate who has the ability to take raw material and turn it into high-quality content with a professional finish.

Junior vMix Operator
We are also currently searching for a junior operator who can work underneath our Virtual Events Lead, Alex. Alex is interested in hearing from Freelance vMix Operators (Remote), Freelance GFX Operators (Remote), people with OBS knowledge who are keen to learn vMix and work on our virtual & hybrid events (Remote), and media/TV/Film uni graduates & students looking for entry-level opportunities in video production (Primarily Remote).

Having started out as a completely remote production company, we are not put off by distance and have plenty of opportunities for people to work with us remotely. For queries regarding the operator roles please reach out to alex@tell.so, for post-production roles please contact kat@tell.so, and for social media-related roles please email me at holly@tell.so. If you’d like to find out more about what we do, don’t hesitate to trawl through our website https://tell.so/ - it’ll even help to be clued in on our work should you be offered an interview!
