For our latest Meet the Team blog we got chatting to one of Tell’s very first official employees. Chris has been with us from the very beginning as a technical producer and counsel, offering his skills and insight on a range of different jobs.

Tell us a bit about your journey into the technical production industry? How did you get to where you are now?
“I was a camera assistant for the London Olympics back in 2012 and the producer I worked with said they liked me but couldn't justify taking a camera assist on at the time. They said if I trained on their graphics system they’d take me on, so I did. I kept learning from there.”

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received in life?
"I don't care what you did last night as long as you turn up on time and do your job"

What is it that you do with/for Tell and what is your favourite part of the job?
“'The Consigliere' role is varied, from dealing with clients, to providing technical support on virtual, hybrid and physical events. Everything is varied and thats why I like it, if I don't have fun doing something I'll stop doing it.”

What personal interests/passions do you have and do they ever coincide with the work you do at Tell?
“I’m really interested in working with the Latino community in the UK. Currently, they haven't interacted but they will someday.”

What mythical creature do you wish existed in real life?
“Vampire.”

What celebrity lookalike do you get compared to?
“Guillermo Del Toro”

What Guinness world record would you attempt to beat given the opportunity?
“There's actually one I was thinking of doing, 'most people dunking cookies at one time' all you have to do is turn up and dunk a cookie!”

Because of Chris’ longevity with the company, he has been able to aid a lot of us in our first days, offering a hand and helping us feel welcome at Tell. Chris is able to perfectly combine fun and work, having a chat and keeping productive. He’s also always ready to have an in-depth chat about Colombian artists.
